The Dialed Freeride Crew (DFC) works with skilled riders ages ~10 to ~16 who are passionate about the sport and want to take their riding to the next level through experienced coaching.
This program is for the rider that is comfortable flowing on all Squamish blues and is beginning to sample some black-rated trails and features. Some of the skill progression that could be included in your child’s sessions would include introduction to and development of small jumps and drops, slabs, advanced cornering and other maneouvers and other features the Sea-to-Sky has to offer. Coach Jordan will work with your young one to tailor a progression plan based on your child’s goals and current skill set.
DFC’s spring and fall sessions include nine weeks of skill-building through focussed coaching as well as opportunities to ride various terrain and features, learn trail-building techniques, and possibly even meet some local mentors. Riders can expect to advance their skills and understanding of how to refine their riding and improve their decision-making regarding trail choice, trail features and what to bring on their rides.
Our summer DFC session takes place over 12 sessions beginning in July, with a third 9-session camp starting in September. Riders can sign up for any of the three sessions or a combination thereof and see their skills and confidence soar.
This program emphasizes freeride and will feature a skill-based approach rather than one centered on race results and competition.
With a similar goal to our other kid’s programs, DFC will continue to build on existing skills, establish a confident decision-maker on the trail, and encourage creativity within their riding all while having fun on two wheels.
Spring and Fall (9 sessions, 2.5 hours each): $499
Summer (12 sessions, 4 hours each): $1,099
Enrollment: Handled on a case-by-case basis by contacting coach Jordan at email@example.com. "These guys have it dialed in! From the easy online registration to a warm welcome on the first day. The coaches know what they are talking about and relate greatly with kids. The kids loved going every day and progressed extremely well to be prepared for many summer bike park laps. Everyday feedback to the parent about your kid's development and opportunities to work on. I can't say enough about the team at Dialed in. We will be back for many more years!!!!"
"We scheduled a family trip to Squamish, hoping to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. Ended up renting from Dialed in Cycling and were very happy with the bicycles and the service they offered. It was great to try out modern full-suspension bikes for the first time, and the location provides great access to many local trails. Thanks! We'll be back."
"Thank you for an awesome workshop last week! Ivan LOVED it, and we're all so stoked with his new cycling skills. I really appreciate you having the extra patience with him to help get him starting/stopping on his own. He's been riding every day since and bragging to everyone about his fancy new skills!"
