Lead Rental Associate - Seasonal, FT
Do you love talking to people about bikes, inspiring others and providing outstanding guest service? Well, this is THE job for you! Our rental program has expanded and we’re looking for a friendly person who can provide exceptional guest service, talk bikes, give tips on where to ride and ensure that every guest is set up to have the most fun with their rental! You will help train staff members and complete other supervisory tasks.
This is a supervisory role with Dialed In Cycling/Flying Spirit Rentals with room to grow within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest and assist them in identifying their needs
- Book the appropriate product or service to fit the guest’s needs
- Build long-lasting relationships with our guests
- Demonstrate, fit or measure merchandise for guests and promote products
- Ensure all our guests have signed a liability waiver and that they have agreed to our policies
- Offer trail recommendations based on guests’ ability levels and preferences
- Ensure that bikes are safe and ready for rental
- Assist with checking returned bikes for damage
- Ensure all financial transactions are processed correctly
- Work safely. Obey all health and safety policies and procedures and report injuries and hazards immediately
- Assist with training staff members
- A passionate and thorough knowledge of our products & services is expected to answer guest queries by phone, by email and in person
- Provide feedback to management on how to improve operations
- Help with delivering bikes as needed
- Work closely with the Bike Mechanic to ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Assist with ordering parts, products, etc. & tracking inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing personality with a commitment to providing a high level of customer service
- Previous knowledge and experience with bikes is an asset
- Prior retail experience in a sporting goods store is an asset
- Prior experience training and supervising staff members is an asset
- PMBIA certification is an asset
- Class 4 driver’s license is an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Guide/Instructor - Seasonal, FT, PT, Casual
Our certified guides/Instructors have some of the best office views in Squamish and share their passion for mountain bikes with others every time they head out onto the trails. Does this sound like the job for you? All of our guides are supported by our team located at our base in Brackendale and each guide has full access to our in-house shop. We encourage our staff to have fun on two wheels and exchange stories with guests at the end of the ride at our own hang-out spot on site.

Kids Coach - Seasonal, FT, PT, Casual
Join Dialed In Cycling for a summer full of fun and have the opportunity to work with like-minded people in a positive environment. Our kid’s coaches know how to have fun on two wheels and can plan for activity off the bike as well to keep participants engaged at all times. We have a strong team culture in our kid’s camps and encourage all staff to participate in team rides, staff events, and head out in the community to volunteer on trail days and more. The future of our sport are the kids in our community and our goal with Dialed In Kids is to create lifelong riders through the enjoyment of riding and connection with friends. We consider our working environment to be one of the best in Squamish. Our location is in the forest with a creek running right in behind the shop. When the weather is nice we encourage you to be outside getting the bikes ready for the day. Our mechanics have flexible schedules and we want to work with you on putting together a plan that works best for your Spring/Summer in Squamish.
