Designed for seasoned mountain bikers, these sessions will review the fundamentals and dive into how to ride the flow and tech in Squamish confidently and progress your skills to the next level. The pace will be faster and a base knowledge and understanding of mountain bike skills is expected.
**Fundamentals 4-Pack or an equivalent program is recommended as a pre-requisite to maximize your experience in this program.
Who is this program for?
You’ve been mountain biking for 2+ years, are comfortable on most blue trails, and have dabbled with some blacks in Squamish.
Bike skills required: You ride 1-2 times a week. You enjoy riding blue trails, can tackle most sections, and want to gain confidence riding more technical trails like Leave of Absence and Manboobs.
Endurance required: You lead an active lifestyle and are comfortable spending 2-3 hours on your bike, pedaling at a conversational pace uphill.
Cost: $209 (4 sessions)
Learning Outcomes:
- Review the fundamentals of biking: Position and balance, operations of controls and trail scanning
- Carry momentum through roll-downs and technical sections of trail (Find your flow!)
- Change direction with confidence and efficiency
- Understand where and when to wheel lift, pump & roll
- Meet like-minded individuals at a similar level!
