These sessions cover the FUNdamental skills required to succeed on green & blue trails in Squamish! Progress your skills over four 2-hour sessions covering the essentials of safe riding techniques and how to apply them on the trail.
**Intro to Mountain Biking or previous mountain bike experience recommended as a pre-requisite to this program.
Who is this program for?
You have been mountain biking for 0-2+ years and would like to tackle the trails with confidence and start exploring more.
Bike skills required: You can control your bike’s speed and direction. You have some experience trail riding and your goal is to improve your skills and confidence on singletrack.
Endurance required: You can pedal up a service road for 20-30 minutes at a conversational pace.
Program full? Check our Adult Fundamentals 4-pack; it is the same program but offered to all genders.

- Position & Balance for riding up & down
- Operations of the controls of the bike
- Trail Scanning and line choice
- Cornering and wheel Lifts
- Practice the trails you love and learn some new trails
- Meet like-minded individuals at a similar level!

- July 4, 11, 18, 25 – 6:00pm to 8:00pm
- August 1, 8, 15, 22 – 6:00pm to 8:00pm
- Sept 10, 17, 24, Oct 1st – 10:00am to 12:00pm
